How to Take the Clip Out of BB Guns

Some BB guns do not have clips. Instead, they have BB chambers, such as in many Daisy BB guns. However, some BB guns do have clips or magazines that allow you to store BBs. In order to fill the clip or magazine with BBs, you have to remove it from the gun. Although this process should be basically the same for all BB guns, it may vary somewhat depending on the type of gun you have.

  Inspect the area around the trigger and handle to find the "Safety" switch. Push the switch to turn the BB gun's safety on.

  Locate the clip-loading dock. This is the part of the gun where the clip is stored. On handgun-style BB guns, this is usually the bottom of the handle. On larger BB guns, the clip loading dock is usually on the the barrel.

  Inspect the area around the clip loading dock. You should see a button or switch that allows you to release the clip. Push the button or flip the switch and pull the clip out.
