Instructions
Dismantle the train table by carefully disassembling the train set and placing it in a box, then remove the legs from the table. If there is a closet that will hold the tabletop, put it there along with the legs and hardware. If it is too small, simply lean the tabletop against a wall and leave the legs and hardware in the closet.
Use the table for another purpose. If your child become disinterest in the train set, put the train and tracks away, and some up with alternative uses for the table. Perhaps your child is interested in drawing pictures, or you would like him to be exposed to military history through toy figurines. He may be old enough to recreate battles, an endeavor that's perfect for a parent and child to be engaged in.
Transform the tabletop into something else. Secure it onto a wall then cover it with a poster or some sort of artwork. You'll be amazed at how the room will be transformed while you have made the tabletop seemingly disappear.
Make or buy a cabinet that will fit underneath the table and place the unit in a convenient place in the playroom. You'll instantaneously turn the tabletop into a utilitarian item into which toys and other objects can be stored.
