Things You'll Need
Instructions
Define the boundaries of the playing area so that players will stay in bounds.
Divide the players into equal teams. If you have an odd number of players, alternate giving one team a numerical advantage for one game, and the other team the advantage the next game.
Mark a home base for each team with glow sticks.
Put on the laser tag vests, ensuring the target markers are not covered by any clothing. Some laser tag products will include headgear as well as vests.
Name a captain for each team, and give the captain a flag.
Give each player his or her gun, explain the rules and send the teams to their respective home bases. Teams will have a predetermined amount of time to hide their flags within 25 feet of their home base.
Blow a whistle to start the game. When the game begins, players have the objective of locating their opponent's flag, stealing it and returning it to their own home base. When players are "shot," they must immediately return to their home base, count to 10 and return to action. If a player is shot while carrying the flag, he or she must drop it on the spot for either team to salvage.
Instruct the players to announce when they have successfully captured the flag. Once a flag is captured, the successful team is awarded a point and the game is started again.
