Changing the Batteries
Slide the power switch, on the bottom of the Pixter, to the "On" position. If the unit does not power on, slide back to the "Off" position.
Flip the Pixter over, so the back is face up. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the single screw, holding the battery cover in place. Slide the battery cover downward for removal.
Lift up on the batteries for removal. Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries into the battery bay. Follow the positive and negative icon indicators in the bay for proper placement.
Slide the battery cover upward, to place it back over the batteries. Screw the screw back into place.
Flip the unit over. Slide the power switch to the "On" position.
Calibrate the Screen
Insert the tip of the stylus into the "Calibration" button, located on the backside of the unit, if you notice that the marks appearing on the screen are not in the same position where you made them.
Release the button when the Pixter screen displays two targets.
Use the stylus to touch the target in the upper left-hand corner. Use the stylus to then touch the target in the lower right-hand corner. The screen has now been re-calibrated.
