How to Build a Lightsaber on the Web

The lightsaber is a fictional futuristic weapon from the "Star Wars" franchise of films. Since the release of the films, toy lightsabers have been on sale in toy stores and on the Internet. However, it is possible to make a customized lightsaber online. The two elements of a lightsaber, the blade and the hilt can be chosen by you, allowing for a personalized lightsaber to be built. You will not need technical expertise nor specialist software.

Instructions

  Connect to the Internet. Go to the "New Grounds Custom Lightsaber Builder" (see Resources) and click "Play".

  Choose a hilt to use for your customized lightsaber. These can either be single or double-sided, depending on your desire. Click on the hilt you would like to use, and drag it down to the "Workbench" section.

  Choose one or two blades to use for your lightsaber. These need not be the same color or even relate to anything seen in the "Star Wars" movies. Click on the desired blade (or blades) and drag it down to the hilt so that it looks like it is attached.

  Take a screenshot of the design to save it. This can be done most easily by pressing "Print Screen" on your computer, which will save the screen to your clipboard. You will then be able to save your lightsaber or e-mail it to friends.
