Imaginext Dragonmont's Fortress Instructions

Toy manufacturer Mattel has a line of play sets that range from futuristic buildings to Stone Age landscapes that come with appropriate figures and toys for your child to enjoy. The Imaginext series of play sets has a model called Dragonmont's Fortress, which is a medieval castle featuring wizards, knights and dragons for youngsters to pretend they are controlling an ancient battle. The Imaginext Dragonmont's Fortress play set will come disassembled, meaning you will have to follow a short set of instructions in order to construct the building before you can let your children play.

Instructions

Open the battery compartment on the back of the piece of the play set that includes the dragon's head. Take off the compartment with a Phillips screwdriver, place three AA batteries into the compartment and place the cover back on with the screwdriver. By inserting batteries, your child will be able to activate buttons that will activate lights and sounds on the front of Dragonmont's Fortress.

Place stickers from the included sticker sheet on the various pieces. The sheet will have a reference guide, showing you which stickers to place on which pieces. Make sure you place them in the correct spots because the stickers cannot be easily removed once they are pressed on.

Assemble the Imaginext playset. Follow the instructions in the Dragonmont's Fortress manual. If you do not have a copy of the manual, you can download one from Mattel's website (see Resources). To assemble the play set, take the wall pieces and press them onto the connectors on the base of the play set. Once the walls are connected, you can connect windows, doors and frames to the walls by pressing them into the connectors on the top and sides of the walls. Once the main castle is built, connect the dragon's head piece to the center of the castle. The pieces are interchangeable, meaning there are several ways for you and your child to put together the play set.

Switch the "On/Off" switch on the back of the dragon's head piece to the "On" position once the castle is built. The device will enter sleep mode if the lights and sounds are not activated after a period of time. When your child is finished playing, turn the switch to the "Off" position to conserve battery life.
