Original Cartridge
Getting the karaoke party started is easy because every E-Kara microphone is sold with a single music cartridge containing five songs. The selected music is a collection of hit pop songs made famous by well-known music artists and recorded by other singers. The original cartridge includes the song "Stronger" by Britney Spears, "Independent Woman Part 1" by Destiny's Child, "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles, "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys and "Bye Bye Bye" by 'N Sync.
Expansion Cartridges
Additional music can be purchased to expand and increase the E-Kara music library. Each expansion cartridge contains 10 popular songs re-recorded by other singers. Volume 1 showcases the Brittany Spears song "Oops, I Did It Again," Aaron Carter's "Aaron's Party," Hanson's "If Only" and Leann Rimes popular song "I Need You." The volume 2 expansion cartridge contains music made popular by the Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Lopez, Faith Hill and 98 Degrees. The volume 3 cartridge includes Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors," Madonna's "Crazy for You" and Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called To Say I Love You."
Single Artist Cartridges
Volumes 4 and 5 expansion cartridges in the E-Kara music library are different from the others. They contain the music of a single popular recording artist --- The Beatles. Volume 4 includes "Can't Buy Me Love," "Yesterday" and "Help." Those who love this well-known band can also sing along to "Michelle," "We Can Work It Out" and "A Hard Day's Night." Volume 5 contains "All You Need Is Love," "Get Back" and "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da."
Using e-Kara Cartridges
The E-Kara cartridges are specially designed for use in the E-Kara microphone. Cartridges must be inserted into the microphone before turning the microphone power on --- the system will not work properly otherwise. The label of the cartridge must be turned toward the user when it is inserted --- the user should be able to read the label once it is inside the microphone. The tape cartridge must be pushed into its designated slot until the sound of a "click" indicates it is in place and ready for use.
