Things You'll Need
Instructions
Look the plane over to assess the extent of the damage. Since it is probably the wing or wings that got the brunt of the damage, concentrate your check up there.
Feel through the wing covering for anything that might be broken beneath the covering. Remove the covering if you feel something broken.
See if the wing is salvageable or if you need a new wing entirely. Cut away any broken areas of any damaged wing and see if you can reshape the wing using a very sharp knife. If you cannot cleanly cut away the damage, fashion two new wings.
Use the same type of glue that you used for building the aircraft, if you have a straight cut or clean break. Apply the glue to both sides of the break and hold the edges together for about a minute. If you are remaking the wings, glue the new wings in place.
Sprinkle baking soda over any areas that you have glued and let the aircraft sit for 12 to 16 hours where you know it will not be disturbed.
Take the same material you originally used for wing coverings and make two new wing coverings. After the glue is dry on the wings, re-cover the wings with the new fabric or paper.
