How to Find the Name or Year of My Breyer Horse

Breyer's first horse model was created in 1950, as a commission from F.W. Woolworth Company. People saw the model and asked where they could buy one. The line expanded rapidly and today the company produces model horses, animals and accessories. Each begins life as artist's sculpture and is then hand-crafted and painted. This process makes the horse models unique -- no two are the same. They are collectible items and as an owner it is a straightforward process to trace your horse.
