Feeding Your Mio Pup
Your Mio Pup gets hungry when it uses energy walking, playing and talking to you. You will know that the pup needs to be fed when you hear it barking and the bone icon is flashing in its eyes. You feed the Mio Pup the bone that came with it by placing it up to its mouth. Don't take the bone away too soon or the pup will be sad. The bone has a magnet in it that the dog's mouth senses. If you lose the bone, you can use another magnet until you can find a replacement.
Getting The Most From Your Mio Pup
The more you interact with your Mio Pup, the more entertainment you can get. The pup needs to be talked to and petted to be happy. When you talk to the pup, it will talk back to you. The pup's talking sounds like babbling. Besides being petted, the pup loves to be tickled. If it is in a good mood, your Mio Pup will play music for you. To turn the music mode on, tap the pup's head while holding its chin. Don't repeatedly hit the pup's button nose or it will get angry.
The Mio Pup's Sensors
Your pup has four sensors on its body. When you touch one of the sensors, the pup will interact with you with sound, light, music and movement. The four sensors are on the top of the Mio pup's head, on the mouth, on the chin and on the back. Touching the pup's head calms it down. Tickling the Mio pup's chin makes it laugh. If you tickle the chin four times in a row, the pup will walk. If you tickle the Mio pup too much, it will get over-excited. The mouth sensor activates when feeding the pup the magnetic bone. Your pup feels loving when you touch its back and pet its head.
Putting The Mio Pup In Secure Mode
If you want to be able to interact with your Mio pup but don't want it to move around, put it in secure mode. It will not be able to walk away, which is convenient when playing with it on a table or bed. Placing your hand on the Mio pup's back sensor and then pushing the nose button twice puts it into secure mode. Repeating the same actions takes it out of secure mode.
