Operation
The rifle uses a "break barrel" system to load and cock the rifle. The barrel is used as a lever that, when drawn down, cocks the rifle's spring mechanism and opens the rifle's action. The rifle is then loaded, and the barrel placed back in the up position.
Ammunition
Slavia air rifles are designed to use .117 caliber pellets. While any commercial pellets will do, Slavia recommends Diablo seven grain pellets for best results.
Trigger Adjustment
Slavia air rifles are preset on the highest trigger tension available. However, you can adjust the trigger pull by removing the stock and loosening the trigger spring located behind the trigger.
Maintenance
Slavia recommends that the rifle be cleaned approximately every 300 to 400 shots, or every three months. The rifle can be cleaned by simply passing a dry patch through the barrel and wiping the rifle with standard gun oil. You should store your rifle in a dry environment.
