Instructions
Locate a large area of open grass that is away from any trees, buildings or other obstructions. Use a park, backyard, sports field or other grass field where people are not around.
Study the multiblade helicopter's remote control. Determine which control stick controls acceleration of the blades and which control stick connects to the helicopter's rudders or other maneuvering devices. Insert batteries into the controller's battery pack and power on both the controller and the multiblade helicopter.
Test the helicopter's flight functions. Grasp the helicopter firmly in one hand, holding the base of the helicopter, allowing the moving parts to work freely. Use your free hand to operate the accelerator and directional control sticks in order to make sure that all pieces work correctly.
Place the helicopter on a level grass area and move back several steps. Stand facing the helicopter and slowly press on the accelerator stick of the remote to begin spinning the blades. Apply pressure until the helicopter rises four to five feet above the ground and allow it to hover there. Use the directional control sticks to maneuver the multiblade helicopter right, left, forward and backwards.
Gradually release the blade accelerator stick on the radio control. Allow the helicopter to softly land on the ground. Pick up the helicopter and adjust the blades and weight balances to improve the steadiness of the helicopter if necessary.
