How to Build Tech Deck Stuff

Kids who enjoy playing with Tech Deck fingerboards may become bored performing tricks on the same old flat surface. After all, real skaters perform tricks off of ramps and rails. By using a few household objects, you can build your own Tech Deck equipment on which to perform tricks. With a few simple steps, you can skate like the pros do---at home.

Instructions

  1. Building Ramps

    • 1

Take an empty cereal box and remove the flaps from its top.

    • 2

Cut two-thirds of each corner of the box, giving you four flaps.

    • 3

Turn the box so the flaps are pointing towards the ground. Lower the box, pressing it into the ground so the flaps arch away from each other.

    • 4

Secure its position with tape when the arches are at your desired angle.

    Building Rails

    • 5

Cut off the point and eraser of a pencil with scissors.

    • 6

Attach the pencil to a binder clip so one end sticks out from the back.

    • 7

Tape the pencil in its position.

    • 8

Place another binder clip on the other end of the pencil. This is your rail.
