Things You'll Need
Instructions
Place a wooden or plastic box horizontally in front of you. The box should measure four inches long and no more than eight inches wide.
Cut a quarter-inch square dowel rod with a hand saw so that you have a four-inch-long piece and two one-and-one-quarter-inch pieces.
Measure one-and-one-quarter inches from the left side of the box. Place the four-inch dowel rod into box at the one-and-one-quarter inch mark so that the rod is parallel to the left and right sides. Secure the rod in place with hot glue.
Measure one inch from the furthest side of the box and make a mark inside the box. Measure one inch from the closest side of the box and make a mark.
Place the one-and-one-quarter inch dowels on the left side of the four-inch dowel at each marked point so they are parallel to the top and bottom sides of the box. Secure with hot glue. The left side of the box should now be divided into three spaces.
Cut three additional square dowel rods each measuring four inches in length.
Glue the three dowel rods into the right side of the box so they are equal distance apart and parallel to the right and left sides of the box. This will create four rectangular spaces in the box.
Type on a label maker or write on narrow labels the words “Wheels,” “Tools,” “Grip Tape” and “Stickers.” Peel each label and place one in each of the four long spaces in the box.
Cut a piece of cardboard so that it measures the dimensions of the box. A four inch by eight inch box would need a four by eight inch square of cardboard.
Cut a three-inch piece of dowel rod and glue it to the center of one side of the cardboard piece.
Insert the parts of your Tech Deck into the labeled spots of the box. Place a Tech Deck in the box so that each set of wheels falls just above and below the divider dowel rods on the left side of the box.
Place the square of cardboard, dowel rod side up, into the box and press down to secure all your Tech Deck pieces into their spots.
Close the lid on the box and take your Tech Deck case with you.
