Things You'll Need
Instructions
Moving the Hands
Hold the airplane controller in your non-dominant hand.
Hold the line connected to the puppet&'s hands in your dominant hand. Tug on the line gently to raise both of the marionette&'s hands. Lower the line slightly to lower them.
Locate the individual lines running to each hand. Pull and release these lines to make one or the other hand on the marionette wave.
Moving the Feet
Grasp the airplane controller in your non-dominant hand.
Tilt the horizontal section of the controller to the left or right to raise one side and lower the other. The side that you raise will in turn cause the marionette&'s foot to rise on the same side. Do this repeatedly on the same side to make the puppet tap its foot.
Rock the horizontal section back and forth to mimic a walking movement for the marionette. Move your arm forward or backward as you do this to move the marionette forward or backward.
Moving the Body
Hold the airplane controller in your non-dominant hand between your forefinger and thumb.
Grasp the line located in the rear of the controller with your dominant hand. Raise the rear line to lift the puppet&'s backside.
Lower the horizontal section forward as you lift the rear line to make the marionette appear as if it is bending or bowing.
Rock the airplane controller back and forth as you pull different combinations of strings to make the puppet dance or move wildly.
