Teck Deck Tools

Tech Decks are more than just a plastic or wooden deck. These miniature skateboards feature different tools to customize the decks. Tools are used to assemble the deck, while other tools are used as part of the deck to customize the appearance and abilities of the deck. Tech Decks come with tools in each package while others can be purchased separately.
  1. Tech Deck Tool

    • The Tech Deck Tool is a small dual-sided tool that features a socket wrench on one end and a Phillips screwdriver on the other. The wrench portion is used to remove the nuts from the wheels while the screwdriver is used to unscrew the trucks from the deck.

    Trucks

    • Every Tech Deck has two trucks attached to the underside of the deck. Four screws hold the trucks into place and attached to each truck are two of the four wheels for the decks. Trucks can be loosened to provide easier movement on the deck.

    Wheels

    • Attached to the trucks are wheels for the Tech Deck. These four wheels come in multiple colors and wear down with use. You can replace the wheels at any time with additional parts sold separately or included in the package with your original deck.

    Grip Tape

    • The grip tape is placed on the topside of the deck and used to keep your fingers in place while moving and tricking with the Tech Deck. The tape features a coarse upside similar to sandpaper while the underside is covered in an adhesive to attach onto the deck.

    Utility Knife

    • The utility knife, while not available with Tech Decks, is used to remove stickers and grip tape from the deck. Before applying new tape to the deck or adding additional decals, use the utility knife to scrape off the original.
