Things You'll Need
Instructions
Take the lid off a large empty shoe box and set it aside. Choose the largest shoe box you can find that is in good condition and has a smooth single panel cardboard base. Leave the box on a stable surface with the open end facing up.
Make a cut that starts halfway between the corner on the long side of the box and ends at the base panel. Make an identical slice in the middle of the other long side.
Cut along the seams where the base panel connects to the split side panels on both long sides of the shoe box. The base panel will remain connected to the shorter end panels of the shoe box.
Overlap the side panels of the box and slide them together to shorten the length of the box and bend the center panel downward. Stop sliding the side panels toward each other when the center panel touches the ground. Taper the side panels in position by overlapping a piece of tape on the inside and outside of both side panels.
Place the shortened shoe box on top of its lid and use tape to secure it to the lid. Attaching the half pipe to the lid gives the ramp extra base support and stability during play.
Coat the bent bottom panel with a single layer of masking tape to give the half pipe an texture suitable for Tech Deck finger skateboarding. Try out the ramp to find areas that need some tape for strength and support. Customize the shoe box half pipe with permanent markers to personalize the look and give it your style.
