How to Make a Rubber Ball

A rubber ball is a wonderful toy. It bounces and can even be used in many games like pick up sticks and jacks. When you add to the fun by making a rubber ball with your child, you will make the games your child plays even more enjoyable.

Things You'll Need

  • Rubber bands (number depends on the size of the ball you want to make)
  • Aluminum foil

Instructions

      Tear off a portion of aluminum foil and roll it into a ball.

      Loop a rubber band around the aluminum foil ball, then wind the rubber band tightly around the ball.

      Add another rubber band to the first, wrapping it around the aluminum foil ball. Try to make the ball as round and as smooth as you can manage.

      Keep adding rubber bands to the ball until it reaches the size you want.
