How to Remove Paint from a Tech Deck

Tech Decks are miniature skateboards that look just like their full-size counterparts. Tech Deck skateboards are produced in almost every skateboard brand and have replicas of full-size graphics painted onto their plastic decks. You can easily remove the paint from your Tech Deck if you want to customize it.

Things You'll Need

  • Small screwdriver
  • Vice
  • Razor blade
  • Damp rag

Instructions

    • 1

      Remove the trucks from the bottom of your skateboard by using a small screwdriver to remove the four screws holding each truck in place.

      Place the Tech Deck into a vice with the bottom facing up, and tighten the vice.

      Starting at one end of the board, use a razor blade to scrape the paint off the board.

    • 4

      Wipe away the loose paint with a damp rag, and continue scraping until all of the paint is removed.
