Stuffing a balloon may seem like a messy task, but with a few simple actions, you can make your own stuffed balloon with ease. Instructions

    • 1

Pre-stretch the balloon. The Balloon Decoration Guide website suggests blowing the balloon up about halfway then releasing the air.

    • 2

Insert a funnel into the balloon's opening. Use a funnel with a larger spout than the balloon's opening. Stretch the balloon's opening over the funnel spout so that it fits tightly and the balloon won't slip as you fill it.

    • 3

Fill the balloon with the stuffing material of your choice. As explained on The Center of Development Pediatric Therapies' website, use the eraser end of a pencil to tamp the stuffing material down into the balloon. Pull on the balloon with your fingers to work the stuffing down further.

Stretch the balloon's neck. Knot it securely to keep the stuffing material from leaking out.
