Launches
Repeat a launch several times in the same way to master the launch. If you launch with a slight twist of your arm to the right, keep launching with the same twist. Note how your blade spins and where it moves in the arena. The more you practice one launch, the more you'll learn how to pull it off perfectly and when to use it.
Speed
Test out different speeds when launching your blade. Insert the ripcord in fully and give a fast pull for more of a spin to your blade. Use a shorter ripcord and less force for a slower spin. Exercising control over your spin can help you gain control during a duel.
Location
Launch your blade on different spots in the arena to make up for any weaknesses you have in your launch. If you notice your blades are always veering to the left, launch your blade to the right of your opponent in battle. When it spins left ,your opponent will be right in your tracks.
Aim
Angle your launcher during training and in battle to direct your blade. Your opponent may have his blade spinning in the middle of the arena. Rather than a straight launch, angle the launcher to send your blade back and forth across the arena, increasing the chances that you knock your opponent out.
Dual Training
Train with another player. Half of Beyblade is launching out your blade and the other half is knocking your opponent's blade out of the ring. Train with a friend to learn how your launch causes your blade to interacts with other blades. Take turns trying out new launches to see which work in battle and which do not. This will train both you and your friend.
