How to Heelflip on a Tech Deck

Tech Deck fingerboards are fully operational miniature skateboards. While traditional skateboards require a skater to stand precariously atop a dangerous piece of wood on wheels, Tech Deck fingerboards offer the ability to manipulate a skateboard safely with your fingers. Tech Deck fingerboarders manipulate their board with their fingers to perform ollies, heelflips, and kickflips just like traditional skateboarders. Some Tech Deck sets even include ramps, rails and halfpipes for a full-blown skateboarding experience.

Instructions

    • 1

Place your Tech Deck on a flat, smooth surface.

    • 2

Place the index finger of your dominant hand on top of the board. Place your finger in the center of the two pairs of wheels toward the outside edge of the board.

    • 3

Place your middle finger on the inside edge of the tail end of the board's deck.

    • 4

Roll the Tech Deck to your right if you are using your left hand and to the left if you are using your right hand.

    • 5

Roll the board quickly in the opposite direction and press down hard on the tail of the board with your middle finger.

    • 6

Slide both of your fingers down the board toward the tail front end of the board, dropping it when it is in the air and causing the board to flip horizontally.

    • 7

Slam both fingers back on the board when the wheels are faced down.
