How to Make Clothes for a Furby

Furbies are small electronic pets that resemble owls and move their eyes and mouth. They talk in their own language, but are programmed to start speaking English over time. Furbies are available in different sizes and colors. To personalize your Furby, you can make your Furby clothes to wear. Making clothes for a Furby is not a difficult process if you are prepared and know the proper steps to follow.

Fabric

Instructions

  Decide what type of clothing you would like your Furby to wear. Dresses, shorts and skirts are the easiest clothing to put on your Furby, since Furby does not have arms.

  Measure the dimensions of your Furby and write them down on a piece of paper. Don't forget to measure around the neck and feet.

  Purchase fabric and a pattern. A pattern that is designed specifically to make doll clothes would be the closest match to your Furby. If you don't have a needle and thread, you will need to purchase those as well.

  Cut the fabric to the appropriate size and shape by using Furby's dimensions and the pattern you purchased. Make sure you don't cut the fabric to small or it will be difficult to put on Furby.

  Sew the Furby's clothes and leave holes for the feet and head. Leave those hole's a little bigger so the clothes will easily slip over those areas when dressing your Furby.

  Dress the Furby in their new clothes and inspect the clothing items for any areas where you will need to make alterations.
