How to Modify a Nerf Machine Gun

The Nerf Vulcan machine gun already provides a lot of fun, but if you want to take it to the next level, there are a few things you can do to modify your gun so that it fires 500 rounds per minute, as well as giving it more firing power.

Things You'll Need

Nerf Vulcan EBF-25
Ballpoint pen
Knife
2 9.6 volt battery packs
2 alligator clips
Chopstick
2 9.6 volt battery pack connectors

Instructions

  Remove the Nerf's battery packs.

  Take apart a ballpoint pen. Cut a slit up the side of the pen's casing with a knife. Put an alligator clip in the slit with the lead hanging out.

  Attach the other end of the alligator clip to the battery terminal of your 9.6 volt battery.

  Use a chopstick to push through the back of the pen, pushing the alligator clip out and hooking it onto the power terminals inside the gun's battery dock.

  Connect the gun's negative power terminal to the black lead on your first battery pack. Connect the red lead from the first pack to the black lead on the second battery pack. Connect the red lead from the second battery pack to the positive power terminal on the gun.

  Separate alligator clips with a piece of cardboard to keep them from shorting out.

  Put battery packs and wires inside the gun and close the lid.
