Pull out the magazine from the bottom of the handle of the airsoft gun with your fingers. Place the magazine aside.
Pull back on each side of the cocking panel that is on the top of the airsoft gun in front of the hammer with your fingers. Fire the airsoft gun into a pillow to ensure that there are no projectiles inside of it.
Place the airsoft gun on its side on the table with the barrel facing to the left.
Remove the screws from the side of the airsoft gun using the Phillips screwdriver---the screws will be near the barrel, on the gun stock, near the middle at the top and at the back by the hammer.
Turn the airsoft gun over. Remove the screws from the similar positions on the other side using the Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the gun stocks from each side of the handle of the airsoft gun. Open the battery compartment that will be on one side of the handle if the airsoft gun is an automatic. Remove any batteries from the battery compartment.
Remove the screw from the back of the cocking lever panel just in front of the hammer with the Phillips screwdriver.
Insert the tip of the flat-edged jeweler's screwdriver into the seam between the cocking panel and the top of the airsoft gun just in front of the hammer. Pull off the cocking panel from the airsoft gun using your fingers. Place the cocking panel aside.
Insert the tip of the flat-edged jeweler's screwdriver beneath the spring firing assembly. Wiggle the tip of the flat-edged jeweler's screwdriver to loosen the spring firing assembly. Lift the spring firing assembly out of the airsoft gun with your fingers.
Pull off the spring from the front end of the spring firing assembly with the pliers using your left hand. Hold onto the other end of the spring with your right hand.
Pull on the pliers to stretch the spring. Place the stretched spring back into the spring firing assembly.
Place the spring firing assembly back into the top of the airsoft gun. Place the cocking panel back onto the airsoft gun. Reattach the screw to the cocking panel.
Put the batteries back into the battery compartment on the handle of the airsoft gun if it is an automatic. Close the battery compartment.
Reattach the gun stocks to each side of the airsoft gun. Reattach the screws to the airsoft gun. Reinsert the magazine into the bottom of the handle.
Pull back on the cocking panel. Aim the airsoft gun at the pillow and press the trigger to fire a projectile that will travel a greater distance that it would have earlier.
