How to Unjam an Airsoft

Place a newspaper on a table. Remove the cartridge from the stock of the airsoft gun and eject the BB pellets from the cartridge onto the newspaper.

Blow out the cartridge with the compressed air. Wipe around the inside of the cartridge at the top with the lint-free cloth. Blow out the cartridge again. Put the cartridge on the newspaper.

Place the airsoft gun on its side on the newspaper and hold it in place. Insert the cleaning rod into the barrel of the airsoft gun.

Push the cleaning rod into and out of the barrel. Turn the cleaning rod around and repeat, then remove the rod.

Pick up the airsoft gun and hold it with the barrel pointing down. Wait for any pellet to fall out of the barrel. Return the airsoft gun to the newspaper.

Remove the screws from both sides of the airsoft gun near the back by the hammer. Remove the screw in front of the hammer.

Lift off the top plate of the airsoft gun. Wipe off both sides of the top plate with the lint-free cloth, then put the top plate on the paper.

Slide the firing mechanism off the top of the airsoft gun. Blow off the firing mechanism with the compressed air.

Remove the spring from the firing mechanism. Wipe off the inside of the firing mechanism with the lint-free cloth. Blow off the firing mechanism with the compressed air.

Wipe off the spring with the lint-free cloth. Return the spring to the firing mechanism and blow off the firing mechanism. Return the firing mechanism to the top of the airsoft gun. Reattach the top plate to the airsoft gun.

Insert the BB pellets into the cartridge. Return the cartridge into the stock of the airsoft gun.
