Things You'll Need
Instructions
Put a headband on your child and push it over the hairline to keep his hair out of his face.
Put petroleum jelly over entire face, except for the eyes.
Cut off one strip of plaster cloth at a time. Start with a piece large enough to cover from the temples across the forehead and work your way down the face from there.
Dip the plaster cloth into a bowl of water and run the strip between your fingers to get rid of the excess water. Apply the piece to the forehead.
Keep adding pieces to the face so that the pieces of plaster cloth slightly overlap each other on the edges. Leave an opening for the eyes, mouth and nose.
Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 two more times until you have a total of three layers.
Remove the mask from the face and set face up on a hard surface.
Shape the eye, nose and mouth holes with your fingers, adding a few small pieces as needed. Allow to fully dry.
Use a hot glue gun to affix an elastic string behind the mask from one edge of the mask to the other in the temple regions.
Paint the mask as desired.
