How to Put an Airsoft Shotgun Together

A shotgun is more powerful than a rifle. Even though it only can fire off two rounds from two barrels before needing to reload, many of those in the law enforcement community use them as both defensive and offensive weapons. You can make your own airsoft shotgun and enforce the peace in your home. You will need a few hardware items and an hour or two of your time. The airsoft shotgun you will make won̵7;t be mistaken for a real shotgun, but it will able to duplicate a shotgun̵7;s ability to fire off two rounds at once.

Things You'll Need

Newspaper
3-foot-long, 1/2-inch wide PVC pipe
Surgical glove
Duct tape
Scissors?
Modeling clay
Four Magic Markers
Utility knife
Glass bowl
Dish-washing liquid
Portable drill
Toilet paper roll
Bonding glue

Instructions

  Put the newspaper down on a work surface. Cut off the four fingers of the surgical glove with the scissors.

  Remove the cap from a Magic Marker. Use the utility knife to open up the end of the marker. Empty the liquid from inside the marker into the glass bowl. Repeat this procedure with the other three markers. Leave the markers to dry out. Empty the liquid in the bowl into the trash. Wash out the bowl with dish-washing liquid.

  Use the portable drill to punch a hole in the bottom of each of the markers.

  Stretch the cut end of a surgical glove finger over the end of one of the markers about half-inch down. Secure the surgical glove finger to the marker by wrapping plenty of duct tape around it. Repeat this procedure with the other three markers.

  Tape the markers together using the duct tape. Tape the toilet paper roll to one side of the markers, using duct tape, to form the shotgun handle.

  Insert one end of the PVC pipe into one of the markers. Apply bonding glue to secure the PVC pipe to the inside of the marker. Put the PVC pipe and the magic marker assembly down on the newspaper. Let the bonding glue dry for at least a day.

  Roll some model clay between your palms to form a small ball. Make an additional three balls.

  Hold the airsoft shotgun you have made so that the PVC pipe is pointing up. Drop a ball of modeling clay into the PVC pipe so it falls all the way down until it comes to the end of the surgical glove finger. Drop a ball of modeling clay into each of the three other markers so that the ball falls all the way down until it comes to the end of the surgical glove finger.

  Aim your airsoft shotgun at a tree in your backyard. Grab the ball inside of the surgical glove finger attached to the marker that has the PVC pipe attached to it. Pull back on the surgical glove finger. Release the ball to shoot a round out of your airsoft shotgun at the tree.

  Grab the balls inside of two surgical glove fingers attached to markers. Pull back on the surgical glove fingers. Release the balls to shoot two rounds out of your airsoft shotgun at the tree.
