How to Make Marshmallow Blow Guns

Marshmallow blow guns are easy and inexpensive to make. The PVC pipe and joints necessary are available in the plumbing section of home improvement and hardware stores. While at the store, check to make sure that the joints and end caps you are buying fit onto the end of the PVC pipe.
Children can be allowed to help construct the blow guns after adults have cut the PVC pipe. These toys will keep children entertained for hours shooting harmless marshmallows at each other and eating their marshmallow ammunition.

Things You'll Need

Hack saw or circular saw 60 inches of 1/2-inch PVC Pipe 2 L Joints 2 T Joints 2 end caps

Instructions

  Use a saw to cut 29 inches of 1/2" internal diameter PVC pipe. Also cut five 3-inch pieces, one 12-inch piece, and one 2-inch piece.

  Attach one T joint to one end of the 12-inch piece of PVC pipe to form the barrel of the marshmallow blow gun.

  Attach a 3-inch piece of PVC pipe to the open ends of the T joint. Put an end cap on the 3-inch piece that faces down to form one of the handles of the marshmallow blow gun.

  Attach another T joint facing up to the open 3-inch piece of pipe.

  Attach the 2-inch piece of PVC pipe to the top opening of the T joint. Place an elbow joint on top of the 2-inch piece so the opening faces away from the barrel.

  Attach one 3-inch piece to the other side of the elbow joint and an additional 3-inch piece to the last opening of the T joint.

  Attach the last elbow to the lower available 3-inch piece of PVC pipe and make sure the elbow is facing down.

  Attach the last 3-inch piece of PVC pipe to the opening in the elbow joint and place an end cap on the open end of pipe. This forms the second handle of the marshmallow blow gun.

  Place miniature marshmallows one at a time into the marshmallow blow gun's mouthpiece. Aim and then blow to shoot.
