Instructions

  1. Making the Leash with Nylon Cord

    • 1

Using the wire cutters, cut the wire to fit the leash from the bottom of the leash handle to where the leash ends and the swivel loop lock begins.

    • 2

Push the wire into the top of the nylon cord leash, near the leash handle. Gently push the wire through the cord until you reach the bottom, making sure the wire does not poke out of the cord at any point.

    • 3

Attach the swivel loop lock to the harness or collar, and you have finished.

Making the Leash with 2 Nylon Leashes

    • 4

Using the wire cutters, cut the wire to fit the leash from 1 inch below the bottom of the leash handle to 1 inch above where the leash ends and the swivel loop lock begins.

    • 5

Place the wire between the 2 leashes. Sew the leashes together on each side, making sure the wire stays between them.

    • 6

Sew across the top and bottom of the leash to make sure the wire doesn't slip out. Attach the swivel loop lock to the harness or collar, and you have finished.
