How to Use a Ben 10 Watch

Ben 10 is a show on Cartoon Network featuring a 10-year-old boy who can transform into ten alien species with the aid of his watch, the Omnitrix. The face of the Omnitrix turns like a dial to select the species and pressing down on the dial starts the transformation. A toy version called the Ultimate Omnitrix is produced by Bandai. It has a moveable dial that activates sound effects and interchangeable translucent figures to place on the watch face to mimic the holograms that appear when Ben 10 chooses a species to change into.

Instructions

  Place three new LR44 button batteries in the back of the Omnitrix, if necessary. Batteries are included when you buy the toy new from the store.

  Place the Omnitrix on your wrist like a normal watch and press the holes from one half of the wristband over the pegs on the other half of the wristband to secure it. Multiple holes and pegs are provided to adjust the size of the watch to any wrist.

  Slide the On/Off switch on the gray tab to the "On" position. A quick double beep will sound.

  Turn the face of the watch left or right to activate lights and sound effects.

  Press the dial down for more flashing lights and a different sound effect.

  Press the gray tab opposite the one with the On/Off switch to pop the dial back up. This will again activate sound effects and a flashing light.

  Place one of the translucent alien figures for the Omnitrix on the dial and gently twist it until you feel it settle into the groves on the inside of the dial. When you can no longer twist it easily, it's in place.

  Press down on the figure to activate lights and sound effects. If the alien figure is placed correctly, you'll also hear him say his name. The bases of the figures are cut with different notches to trigger different voices and phrases when pressed down.

  Press the gray tab opposite the one with the On/Off switch to pop the dial and the figure back up.

  Press the On/Off switch to the Off position when you have finished playing to conserve the batteries.
