Things You'll Need
Instructions
Acquire a piece of paper that is approximately 8 X 11 inches in size. Some variation in width or length is possible.
Fold the two corners across the width of the paper until they meet. This is the exact same first step as if you were making a normal paper airplane.
Lay your piece paper on a flat table with the point facing towards you and the fold on the top side. On the outside edge of the your folded piece of paper grab the place where you first fold meets the edge and fold it again until the outside edge comes to the center of the paper.
Repeat Step 3 to the other side of the paper.
Set the paper down on the table with the point towards you and the folds facing up. Essentially you will repeat Step 3, but this time you will grab the outside edge of the folded piece of paper at the midway point and fold it until it lines up with the center line.
Repeat Step 5 for the other side of the paper. Now you should a folded piece of ][paper that is still about 11 inches long, but it will just be 3 or 4 inches wide at the top and there will be a point at the bottom.
Make the wings for the jet. To do this take the folded piece of paper from Step 6 and fold it in half along the lengthwise seam and then lay it on the table in front of you with the point facing towards you. Put the crease on the left and the open edge towards the right. Pull the right side till it lines up perfectly with the crease. This is your fold, so go ahead and rub it hard, so that the fold stays in place. Do the same with the other side of the paper and now you should have a jet airplane with wings that will travel through the air in a direct straight line.
