How to make Homemade Floam

Children and parents alike have fallen in love with the look and the feel of Floam. Floam is a type of a squishy toy that provides hours of endless entertainment for kids of all ages. With this homemade version of Floam, you're guaranteed hours of fun!

Things You'll Need

  • 2 (3 mm) Styrofoam beads
  • 3 tsp. of borax or baking powder
  • Large balloon
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1/4 cup of glue
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Spoon

Instructions

      In a large bowl, combine the borax and 1/2 cup of water and allow the borax to completely dissolve.

      Add the glue and the remaining water to the large bowl and mix well with a spoon.

      Add Styrofoam beads to the mixture and mix well with a spoon.

    • 4

      Pour mixture into a large balloon and tie the balloon to form a knot, allowing the Floam to move freely inside.
