Instructions

    • 1

Take out your two cardboard toilet paper rolls. Cut one in half. Warm up your hot glue gun. Break your Popsicle stick in half. Stand the whole toilet paper roll up so it stands on its own. Take one half of the Popsicle stick and glue it on the inside of the roll at an angle so it points outward.

    • 2

Press down on the Popsicle and hold to ensure it remains glued to the roll. Flip the toilet paper roll over and repeat on the other side. Glue the Popsicle stick half outward so that both sticks point outward slightly creating a long and wide V shape.

    • 3

Take the other, split toilet paper roll. Take one half and glue the other end of the Popsicle stick to the inside of the halved toilet paper roll. Repeat on the other side. You should now have a toilet paper roll with two ends that point out and have "phone receptors."

Cut a piece of foil. Hot glue one end to the center tube. Then tape it on top to the tube for extra security. Wrap the foil around the center toilet paper roll until it is completely covered. Fold the edge over and hot glue down. Cover with a piece of tape. Repeat this process for the ends. Cover these with foil as well.

Decorate the phone with puffy paint. Write the person's name on the handle of the phone. Use black or white puffy paint to add dots to the ends of the phone to mimic the speaking and hearing holes in a regular phone. Have fun with it and be creative!
