How to Make a Nerf Holster

Anyone can make a simple Nerf holster but to get an edge on the competition you need a unit that can carry more guns and ammo. Making a shoulder belt holster gives you more room and easier access to the firepower you need, when you need it.

Things You'll Need

  • 2 or 3 belts
  • Leather punch
  • 20 to 30 Zip-ties
  • Small cardboard box
  • Cardboard construction paper

Instructions

    • 1

Place two belts across your shoulders so that they cross your upper torso. Adjust each belt so that you can move easily without them slipping off. You also can wear a standard holster around your waist.

    • 2

Poke a hole with a knife or leather punch through the center of both belts at the point where they cross. Run a small zip-tie through the holes and tighten it. Snip off any excess zip-tie with a wire cutter.

    • 3

Punch two holes side by side at the point where you want to attach your Nerf ammo to the belt holster. Run a zip-tie from the back and then into the opposite hole. Secure the zip-tie, leaving a loop just large enough to fit the ammo in and snip off any excess.

    • 4

Attach a cardboard box to the holster with the zip-ties to carry rounds or small ammunition. Make sure the box has a lid if you'll be performing tricky maneuvers on the battlefield.

    • 5

Roll up cardboard construction paper to a size that an extra Nerf gun can fit into securely. Staple the cardboard to hold it together and secure it to your holster belt with a zip-tie.
