How to Shoot a Nerf Gun Accurately

Learning to aim and shoot your Nerf gun accurately has little to do with your shooting skills. Rather, it has far more to do with learning how your particular Nerf guns fire their ammunition. Experiment to learn if you need to aim high or low and find out what your shooting range is.

Instructions

  Shoot your Nerf gun directly at a target from a short distance.

  Evaluate how close your ammunition came to your target and adjust your shots accordingly. Since Nerf guns are toys, they aren't extremely accurate.

  Adjust your aim according to how far off you were previously. If your shot was 2 inches too low, aim for 2 inches above your target and fire your Nerf gun again.

  Continue adjusting your aim until you can hit your target most of the time.

  Increase your distance as you continue to shoot your Nerf gun and evaluate your aim. Adjust accordingly until you're familiar enough with your Nerf gun that you can aim, fire and strike your target consistently.
