Things You'll Need
Instructions
Cut a sheet of 8.5 by 11 inch paper into four or five crosswise strips. Either lined or plain paper works well. Because the weight and texture of paper may vary by manufacturer, experiment with different kinds of paper to find the one you like best for your darts.
Take one strip of paper and roll it into a cone. Begin by rolling the paper into a cylinder. Pull the inside of the cylinder out with one hand while you hold the outside of the cylinder with the other. Continue wrapping and twisting the paper into a very tight cone as you pull gently on both ends of the strip. This cone is the dart and should have a sharp tip at one end.
Tuck in any paper that is sticking out. Trim it off if necessary. If the paper is notebook paper with holes in it, make sure you cover all the holes.
Pull off a piece of transparent tape from the dispenser. Start at the very tip of the dart. Place one end of the tape on the pointed end of the dart and continue wrapping it around the cone. This process should secure the entire nosepiece of the dart.
Prepare the dart gun. Roll a sheet of 8.5 by 11 inch paper lengthwise. The inside diameter of the dart gun should be long enough to allow the dart to pass through. If it's not, you can trim off the wide end of the dart so that it does pass through. Tape the outside edges of the dart gun.
Place the dart in the gun. Aim at your target. Put your mouth on the dart gun and blow.
