How to Make My Sing-A-Ma-Jigs Work

Sing-A-Ma-Jigs are plush toys that speak, sing and can even harmonize with fellow Sing-A-Ma-Jigs. They are distributed by Mattel and have established such a following that Sing-A-Ma-Jigs earned the Toy of the Year award in 2011. When you get your Sing-A-Ma-Jigs home, you will soon see why these interesting toys have such a reputation. Your Sing-A-Ma-Jigs will be chattering and crooning in no time once you get them set up.

Phillips screw driver
AAA batteries

Instructions

Installing Batteries

  Locate the Velcro enclosures on the back of the Sing-A-Ma-Jigs and pull them open.

  Remove the plastic lids on the battery compartments using a Phillips-head screwdriver.

  Insert AAA batteries into the battery compartments in the directions indicated by the diagrams.

  Replace the lids and tighten the screws.

  Close the Velcro enclosures.
Using Your Sing-A-Ma-Jigs

  Press the left hand of your Sing-A-Ma-Jig to turn it on. It should offer a greeting or a musical note to signal it is on. It is now in the first mode, which emits single musical notes. Press the hand again to switch to the second mode: talking. Pressing the hand one final time will change the Sing-A-Ma-Jig to singing mode.

  Squeeze your Sing-A-Ma-Jig once or several times to make it sing individual notes, talk or sing a song.

  Squeeze the stomachs of up to four Sing-A-Ma-Jigs at once to make them sing a song together in harmony.
