How to Build a Pink Monkey at Build-a-Bear

The Build-a-Bear workshop allows you to fully customize a stuffed friend of your choice. You can choose from over 30 animals, including pink monkeys, then choose exactly how that animal sounds, feels and looks. You can even give it a monkey sound chip and dress it a matching pink outfit. Build-a-Bear workshops are available at malls across the nation as well as in 17 other countries.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose the smallfrys fuchsia monkey or the sweet treat smallfrys fuchsia monkey skin at the "Choose Me" station.

    • 2

Select a sound chip at the "Hear Me" station. You can select a monkey sound, a song, or a recorder that you can use to add a 10-second customizable message. You may also add a "heart" that beats when you press it.

    • 3

Place the heart or sound chip inside the monkey and insert the hose attached to the stuffing machine into its back. Fill the monkey with stuffing until it is plump. Make sure an associate puts a bar code inside that will identify the animal if it should become lost.

    • 4

Sew the back of the monkey securely at the "Stitch Me" station.

    • 5

Go to the "Fluff Me" station and brush your monkey's fur.

    • 6

Choose clothes and accessories at the "Dress Me" station.

    • 7

Enter the monkey's name and "birth date" into the "Name Me" computer. This allows Build-a-Bear to generate a birth certificate as well as add your monkey to the Find-a-Bear ID program in case it becomes lost.

    • 8

Go to the "Take Me Home" station to receive your birth certificate, club membership card and box for your pink monkey.
