Burping Furby

• Furby will burp for you if you instruct him to. The way to do it is to feed him three times in a row. To accomplish this, you must wait until Furby is actually hungry. You will know Furby is hungry when he says "kah a-tay." You then take your finger -- don't give him actual food -- and place it in his mouth, then press down on his tongue. Do this three times in a row, then pet him three times. Furby will then burp eight times in a row.

Learn English Faster

• A Furby comes with the ability to learn new words in English. If you want this process to speed up, all you have to do is reset Furby four times. To reset Furby, refer to your instructions manual. There are several generations of Furby, and each one has their own set of instructions for resetting. Once you've done this four times, the Furby will begin to learn at a faster rate.

Crying Furby

• You can't make an individual Furby cry, but if you have three or more Furbys, you can make all but one cry. To do this, line your Furbys up in a row, making sure each one is switched on and attentive. Then take one of the Furbys and, in front of the rest of them, turn the Furby upside down and shake it. Once the other Furbys see this, they will all begin to cry.

Singing Furby

• Furby comes with the programming to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," but you have to learn how to make it do this trick. To do this, you must make three loud, sudden sounds in front of him. All three sounds should be done in a row. Clapping or loud yelling will do. After the three sounds, pet Furby and he will sing three times in a row.
