Uglydolls Games

Uglydolls are plush toys that are cute despite their name. Children have been collecting them since their creation in 2001. The creators took what society deems "ugly" and made it look cute. Many of the dolls have buck teeth and odd-shaped heads or bodies. The dolls can teach children that looks can be deceiving and to accept people who look "different."
  1. Uglydolls Games

    • There are only two games made around the Uglydolls brand. One is a card game, and the other is a free online game. The card game was created to improve reflexes and the ability to spot differences in pictures quickly. The online game helps to improve memory and requires players to match pictures of Uglydolls.

    The Remembery Game

    • The Remembery Game can be found at the Uglydoll website and in arcades. Players flip over cards to try to make a match. If the two chosen cards don't match, they are flipped back over. Players must remember where cards were located to make more matches. This game has 48 cards and might be too difficult for kids younger than 8 years old.

    The Uglydoll Card Game

    • Each card has a picture of one of the Uglydolls. Players flip over cards as fast as they can until the cards match. The first player to grab the matching cards gets to keep them. Keep flipping cards until one player has claimed them all. The game is for age 6 and older. It is available at the Uglydolls online store or in any store that sells Uglydoll products. As of 2011, The Uglydoll Card Game costs $10.

    Other Uglydoll Products

    • Uglydolls were not made to be used as teaching tools but are plush creatures for children to love and carry around. Besides the dolls, keychains or notebooks, Uglydolls also produces books. These books give readers a look at the Uglyverse and how the Uglydolls live. There also is a book that teaches kids how to draw their own Uglydolls. As of 2011, there are no plans for more games.
