How to Dress an Emma Doll on I-play

The Learn-to-Dress Emma doll from I-Play is a plushy, soft toy that may be enjoyed by children aged 1 year and older. While the doll is pretty and plushy, it isn't a simple plaything to be cuddled and loved -- it's an educational tool meant to help children learn how to dress themselves. The buttons, hooks, loops and snaps on Emma's clothing are exactly like the items children will find on their own clothing. Kids will learn to dress themselves when they learn how to dress I-Play's Emma doll.

Instructions

    • 1

Undress the Emma doll, which comes fully dressed, so children may learn how to put the clothes back onto the toy.

    • 2

Place Emma's pink, polka dot dress on her body. Close the snaps at the shoulders to hold the dress in place.

    • 3

Move the red belt through the loops at Emma's waist.

    • 4

Pull the yellow socks onto Emma's feet.

    • 5

Slip on the doll's right shoe (which will be on your left side as you face the doll). Secure the shoe with the buckle-type closure found across the top of the shoe.

    • 6

Place the second shoe on the doll's left foot. The shoe has standard laces, the same as the sort you'll find on athletic shoes designed for real people. Tie the laces to hold the shoe in place.

    • 7

Wrap the bracelet around Emma's left wrist, securing it with the button closure.

    • 8

Stick the included teddy bear to the Velcro pad on Emma's right hand.
