How to Make a Build-A-Bear Cow

Kids of all ages will enjoy making a new stuffed cow at the Build-A-Bear Workshop. You can select a voice box, clothing and accessories at the bear dressing station to create a custom stuffed cow. After the stuffed cow is completed, you will receive an official birth certificate stating the name you have selected for the cow. Build-A-Bear stuffed animals are guaranteed for 90 days after purchase.

Instructions

  Visit your local Build-A-Bear Workshop and select a cow from the bins of empty, unstuffed animals. Select a voice box, if desired.

  Take the selected cow to the bear stuffing machine. Press down on the pedal that controls the fluffing and stuffing machine to fill the cow partially full of stuffing.

  Perform the Heart Ceremony when the cow is partially full of stuffing. Make a wish on the cow's heart and insert it in the cow. Insert the selected voice box in the cow's arm or foot.

  Allow a Build-A-Bear Workshop employee to fill the cow with stuffing and close it up with the lacing system on its back.

  Go to the bear bathing station to give your cow a waterless bath. The pretend bath is not necessary, but is a part of the process that is often enjoyed by younger children.

  Visit the bear dressing station. Select an outfit and accessories for your cow and dress it.

  Purchase the completed cow. Name it and receive its official birth certificate after your purchase is complete. An employee will place the completed cow in a box called a "Cub Condo" so you can take it home.
