Furreal Friends Instructions

FurReal Friends are a type of interactive animal toy from Hasbro that simulates the motions of an actual dog or cat. You can pet your FurReal Friend in various positions to receive different sounds and interactions from the toy. There are several hand-motion sensors placed all over the toy that trigger these reactions. In order to play with the toy you must first install the batteries and learn how to properly wake your pet up.

Instructions

  Pull back the plush flap located on the back of your FurReal Friend toy. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screw-on latch.

  Remove the battery compartment and insert the appropriate type of batteries for you type of FurReal Friend toy you've purchased. Replace the battery compartment and tighten the screw back in. The toy will automatically go to sleep once you've put the batteries in.

  Move the switch at the bottom of the battery compartment door to the “ON” position and then lower the flap back down. Turn your cat or dog over and it will begin to stretch out as if it’s sleeping.

  Pat the top of your pet’s head to wake it up. The pet will automatically go back into sleep mode if it’s not played with for three to five minutes. Turn the switch to the “OFF” position every time you are done playing with the toy.

  Pet your cat or dog on the shoulders, back, tail and cheeks for different responses. Don’t grab the pet’s tail or it will become angry and growl.
