How to Win Prizes From a Claw Game

A claw game is an arcade machine that is found in a video arcades, theme parks, supermarkets, movie theaters, and so forth. The object of the game is simple: navigate a claw over an array of prizes within the machine, drop the claw, and if it catches a prize, it will drop it down a shoot where you can claim it. These claw games, however, are notorious for their difficulty due to a weak claw grip. However, there is a way to circumvent this challenge, and all it takes is patient observation to find out the claw game's box settings within the machine.

  Observe the claw machine while players try it out. Start taking count from the first win you see, then take a mental note on how many tries there are until the next win. Each claw machine has a setting from a mechanical box, which tells the claw when to use the hardest grip to pull prizes. For example, every tenth try is when the grip is hardest and will enable the biggest chance for success.

  Wait until you can play the winning round you identified in Step 1. This may take awhile, depending on the number of people playing the machine.

  Insert the amount of money needed to play the claw game. Then navigate the claw over the items that can be reached. Avoid playing overfull machines as the amount of items may interfere with the claw.

  Drop the claw over the prize. If you followed Steps 1 through 3, your chances to win a prize at a claw game will be very high.
