How to Find Gems in Webkinz

Hunting for gems at Webkinz.com is an activity you find at Arte's Curio Shop of rare collectibles. The Webkinz site allows you to gem hunt once per day, and each gem you find is worth some KinzCash should you choose to sell it. The gems come in five different colors: white, blue, red, yellow and green, and each color contains six gems, for 30 total. The long-term objective of this activity is to collect all 30 gems and trade them in for the ultimate prize: the Webkinz Crown of Wonder.

  Visit Webkinz.com with your web browser and log in to your Webkinz account.

  Select "Curio Shop" from the "Things to Do Menu."

  Click "Gem Hunt" on the Curio Shop menu board.

  Click the "Start Hunting" button located on the map next to Arte, the canine shopkeeper.

  Click a mine to search, then click the "Start Mining" button. You can search one mine per day.

  Click on an oval-shaped rock in the cavern with your mouse pointer that is now shaped like a pickax. A dialog box will tell you if you've found anything of value. As soon as you find a gem, your turn is over. You have up to three tries to find a gem before your turn is over.

  Click "Keep Your Gem" if you want to add it to your collection or click "Sell Your Gem" if you want to sell it to Arte for the price he offers on the menu board. If you keep your gem, your gem box will open so you can view the newest addition to your collection.
