Knitting Webkinz Clothes
Knitting vests, dresses, sweaters, hats and other attire for a Webkinz is easier than you might think. Experienced knitters may be able to comfortably work without a pattern, creating simple shapes based on experience. You can also increase or decrease the size of other doll, teddy bear and toy patterns by changing the needle size and yarn weight. Measure your Webkinz from wrist to wrist, across the arm and across the chest. Crochet a simple sweater by working several rows of half-double crochet, or you can double crochet the measurement of your Webkinz from wrist to wrist. Once your sleeve is a suitable width, slip several stitches to return to the shoulder point. Continue working in half-double crochet or double crochet to the opposite shoulder, then turn. Make tiny bags, simple knit or crocheted scarves, and hats to add personality to any Webkinz. Webkinz accessories can be made of felt, yarn or fabric. Doll accessory patterns will often work quite well for Webkinz, but may need to be sized down slightly.
