Filling the Gun
Pull out the fill plug connected to the reservoir, which is the part of the gun that holds water. If the gun has a reservoir cap, turn it left to twist it off.
Hold the opening to the reservoir under a faucet or hose and fill it completely, until water flows out of the reservoir. Alternatively, submerge the gun in a tub or bucket of water.
Push in the fill plug until it snaps in place, or screw on the reservoir cap with turns to the right.
Point the nozzle at your target and pull the trigger. If the gun has a pump, quickly pull it back and forth a few times before pulling the trigger.
Shoot at your targets until the water gun is empty.
Reload with water.
Games to Play
Spelling Bee: Choose someone to call out one word at a time. Each person has 20 seconds to spell the word correctly. Shoot the person who misspells a word.
Scavenger Hunt: Fill several water guns and hide them before the group arrives. Have players search for the water guns. Players who do not find any guns attempt to run to the designated safe area without getting wet.
Birthdays: Create two teams to take turns calling out random months. If your birthday is in the month called by the opposing team, you are the target. Put down your water gun; your teammates' goal is to protect the target from getting shot.
