Super Soaker Instructions

The Super Soaker range of water guns claims to give extra shooting power by building up pressure within the gun before it's fired. Like other water guns, Super Soakers must be filled with water. It has a large tank as well as a specialized water hole. After the gun is filled, pressure is built up by pumping a level on the gun several times to increase the range of the shot.

  Grip the Super Soaker in one hand with the "Quick Fill Cap" facing upwards. The cap will be on the back water tanks of smaller guns and on the backpacks of larger guns.

  Place the end of the water hose into the circular cap and gently press downward until the cap depresses fully.

  Turn on the hose and completely fill the tank.

  Pull the hose off of the "Quick Fill Cap" to close off the opening in the tank.

  Hold the Super Soaker gun in one hand with the muzzle facing outwards and a finger on the trigger.

  Grip the pump under the barrel of the gun with your off hand. Pump the gun 20 to 30 times until the pump becomes difficult to move.

  Pump the Super Soaker when the stream of water weakens and forms a short arc when shooting.

  Shoot the Super Soaker until all water has completely emptied from the tank. Do not leave water in the tank between uses.
