Things You'll Need
Instructions
Vacuum the Pluffie gently with the hose and brush attachment.
Clean off surface stains and dirt. Wet a soft cloth with water and apply half a teaspoon of mild laundry detergent. Add more water to the cloth to activate the detergent. Thoroughly wring it out, then gently scrub at any surface stains or dirt on the Pluffie.
Place the Pluffie in a pillowcase and sprinkle some baking soda into the pillowcase as well. Tie the top closed, to ensure the Pluffie does not come out.
Put the pillowcase with the Pluffie in the washing machine and set it to the delicate cycle; ensuring that the machine is set on the lowest spin. Add a small amount of mild detergent and start the washer. Periodically stop the washing machine and check the pillowcase to ensure the Pluffie is still intact.
Add fabric softener. Before the machine finishes the rinse cycle, add a small amount of fabric softener. This maintains the softness of the Pluffie.
Air dry the Pluffie. Set the Pluffie in an area with good air circulation. On warmer days, dry the Pluffie outside in the sun.
Blow dry the Pluffie. Instead of waiting a few days for the Pluffie to air dry, use a blow dryer set on the lowest setting. Hold the nozzle 8 to 10 inches away, constantly moving around the Pluffie to ensure even drying.
